Vicky's writing practice 3

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Telephones and email have made communication between people less personal. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

I am up for the idea that telephones and email have made communication between people less personal. Although it has make it much more convenient for people to communicate with each other, it , in a way, enlarges the distance between people as well.

People were more close and sincere to each other when there were no telephones and emails. Back to the ancient time when the technology has not been developed yet, people had to communicate with each other in person or with letters. It was a more direct way for people to know each other, for they can know others’ feelings directly by their facial expressions, gestures, and tones. Even with letters, you can feel what the hand-writing tries to show you. For instance, before I entered the college, I still wrote to or received letters from friends. Every time I received letters, I was thrilled. It was really a magical action that made people feel glad. I believe that it is because I could feel how much my friends cared about me. Those mentioned above are things that people just can not feel while using a telephone or email.

Moreover, using telephones and emails makes people less close to each other. In order to save time, instead of meeting people in person, nowadays people would rather dial the number to connect to others as soon as possible. What’s worse, they just send emails to keep in touch with each other. However, most of the time, those emails were forwarded by friends who the recipients do not even know. As a matter of fact, people do not feel great while getting these kinds of emails, for there is no feelings. For me, I would rather receive some simple sincere words from friends than these kind of mails. Nevertheless, I receive real words from less often than before. Being busy is always the best excuse for people who don’t really want to keep a good relationship with you.

They say, "Technology always comes from humanity.” However, I do not agree with this saying. I think it is just a sentence to boost consumers’ purchasing desires. The fact is that any high technology can not keep a good relationship for you. We are flesh and blood with feelings, which can never be taken good care of by just telephones or emails. If people rely on them overly, those sincere feelings would just fade away and never come back until they really concern about this problem. True communication has to be personal so that you feel connected with people. So, get up and go visit your friends or family right now! It will never be too late.

Vicky, I really enjoy reading your writing because it always makes me feel comfortable. And I think it's your special quality to make article easy to read, for that everything and every sentence seems persuadable.

There are few grammatical problems in this article and I'm sure you can recognize them in WORD by yourself.
So the only suggestion I want to give you is that maybe you can add some "strongly" side effects about using telephones and email for communication, that way your article will be more memorable.
