What is your approach to problem-solving, and how does it work for you? Use specific details to support your response. (300-450 words)
Even though I am an independent person, I tend to ask for help when I come across some tricky problems. The reason is that I may not miss some precious ideas or advices from others, and also it’s more efficient.
Let me take an example, when I get a problem with how to register for the TOEFL test. First, I would read the information on ETS’ website and try to figure out by myself, but if I’m still not sure about the steps, then I refuse to stick in the same point and start to ask for help-internet and friends.
Due to the reason that I cannot solve the problem by myself, I surf the internet and key in the key words “register” and “TOEFL” to the searching bar, then I check the approximate results and conclude by myself. However, sometimes I just cannot find the most appropriate one, so I would post the whole question on net and ask for help. Most of the time, I can get the response very quickly, even though sometimes it depends on luck. I choose internet to be my problem-solving tool because it’s more convenient and also efficient. Some extra advantages are that I don’t have to worry about others’ judgments when I ask something hard to talk or embarrassing questions, because people don’t know each other on line and they cannot see me as well. In this information explosion era, I believe that everyone should have the ability to use internet and get some benefits on net, and I think this approach not only suits me but also others who live in this era.
Nevertheless, friends are another resource for problem-solving. People said that “Two heads are better than one.” I cannot agree that more, and my friends indeed help me a lot when I come across some tricky problems. I believe that experience is the most valuable knowledge, so taking the same example as I mention above, I tend to ask my friends who had took the test before. I don’t think that asking for help would be a shame even though some people think so. To me, the more I ask, the more I learn, and if I just insist on the insolvable problems or figure out by my own guess, I may be miss leaded the real meanings or something.
To conclude my own experience, I get to know that asking for help on net or by friends is more effective and can learn more. Therefore, it’s no doubt that I use these two approaches to problem-solving.

1. In my opinion, you could combine the second and third passage, because they start from the example, I think it will be good if you connected one point in one passage instead of one point separated into two passages.
2. good sentences:
* In this information explosion era, I believe that everyone should have the ability to use internet and get some benefits on net, and I think this approach not only suits me but also others who live in this era.
