Groups or organizations are an important part of some people's lives. Why are groups or organizations important to people? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.
Human beings are social animals which need others’ approval, and a sense of belonging in groups or organizations. Consequently, groups and organizations play a crucial role to some people.
Being in the groups means being in conformity. A very common example can prove my argument here—the uniform dress code in high schools, which usually encourages harmony. Although some students might think it is a confining regulation to them, for some it is relieving. In this way, they do not have to spend time buying beautiful dresses and choosing which one to wear each morning. Once students dress the same, they can pay more attention to study, instead of caring about others’ opinions about their appearances. This behavior is approved by b=not only the school but also the parents, and even the students themselves. Therefore, it is important to be in groups like this.
Some people are afraid of being different from others, because being the same with others can rid one of his/her responsibility to develop him/herself as an independent person. It is indeed easier to hide in groups or organizations from others’ queries. Therefore, having a group or organizations to stay in is important to some people. There are many groups and organizations in the society, from a family to a company. What people need is to feel the sense of belonging in the group. For some, being one part of the group gives them the power and belief to do what they want to do. Take the charity group like Tzuchi in Taiwan as an example, many benevolent people join this group to help people wherever in need. The group offers those kind people resources, power, and a legitimate authority to contribute money and labor to those in need. Seeing that Tzuchi is a famous charity group, people tends to believe something that is authorized and big in numbers. Thus, it is much easier for people to accomplish their missions and goals.
To conclude, groups and organizations are indispensable for some people, as they offers people benefits and better conditions to do what they want to do. Moreover, being in groups and organization are safer and more convenient. Therefore, this statement is has stated something real for some people.
